One day, I got a text from Gabriella. She was asking me to help her start a blog helping teenagers with adoption resources. I thought it would be a super cool opportunity. I had already been through the adoption process when I was about twelve. I was too young at the time to really look for resources to help me. I never even thought about resources for teenagers whose family’s are adopting. So, I decided, “you know what; why not!?” So, here goes a little bit about me. 

      I am the second oldest of five children. I go by my middle name Malia, but my first name is Anita. I am a Christian, and I have always grown up in a Christian home. I am also an Army brat, and we move around a LOT! I am only seventeen,and I have lived in about eleven different places. This is why my faith and family has been so important to me. Here are a few fun facts about me:

1.I love potatoes. You can smash them, fry them, or bake them, and I will love them. 

2. My favorite color is pink. I am not sure why, but it just always has been. 

3. I love traveling. I am always full of wanderlust! 

4. I love doing my makeup and nails and dressing up. I may or may not be a little extra.;) 

5.My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 28:20b, “And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.” How amazing, that God is always with us!
